84-year-old dies in single-car crash

An 84-year-old woman died after getting into a single-car crash at 12:32 p.m. on Friday. The woman was driving a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria east bound on Philadelphia road. According to Baltimore County Police, she drove off the edge of the road, over to the westbound lane, back over to the eastbound lane and then off the road. She hit a small tree, and then a large tree with the front of the car. She was alive when the police got there and had to be pulled out from the car to be flown to shock trauma. she was pronounced dead at 1:46 p.m. The cause of death has not been determined. Police have not released her name.
